Shipping policy

We ship as quickly as possible. Most orders ship by the next day unless there has been a sale, market or a holiday. Shipping costs of $9.75 or more may be via USPS or 2-day FedEx, at our discretion. The 2-day shipping time does not include order processing time. If you have a preference, you must add a note to your order or send a message. I pass along my FedEx discount to my customers. If you list your physical address first, it will most likely ship via FedEx. If you want your package to ship to a P.O. Box, make sure to enter that address first. Free shipping does not apply to select items, including Handcrafted/Ready to Ship and some special offers. If you need something in a rush reach out and we will work with you.

Cork Shipping - longer packages are more expensive to ship. Cork shipping costs are at least $16.50. If the checkout doesn't show that, it is a glitch in my system. Please contact us for further assistance. We can't cover the additional expense, and if a refund is requested, it will be issued with reduced fees and will include a $5 restocking fee.

If you place a 2nd order and pay shipping, I will not refund shipping. I allow combined orders (does NOT include the $6 economy shipping).

Code: localAK before the 1st order has shipped. All you have to do is contact me for instructions, and I will combine the orders. I will invoice you for the difference plus fees if your shipping costs exceed the amount paid for the original order.

$6 shipping does not include insurance, and tracking is not guaranteed depending on the weight of your order. Pricing of $9.75 and up includes up to $100 in insurance. If your order is over the threshold, add more insurance to your cart. From time to time, I will offer special shipping offers. You must select the correct option. Because of fees and the time it takes to fix mistakes I will not allow changes or refunds. If you chose a shipping that is clearly incorrect, I will refund your order, less a $5 fee. Please make sure you choose correctly. I work hard to keep shipping down but it takes everyone's help.

Wholesale accounts do not qualify for free shipping under any sale or order  
Once I ship a package and it has a tracking number it is then on the shipping company or on the buyer based on the request for insurance.

Fireweed Stitches is not responsible for customs/duties/tax charges for international customers. All additional fee and duties are the responsibility of the buyer.
