Terms of service

We will make every effort to create and ship your items as quickly as possible. In most cases that is within a couple of days for hardware and about two weeks for handcrafted items, but could be longer based on current orders and time of year. Please place your holiday orders early to assure they will be completed. Orders for hardware are processed quickly and sent out via the best shipping methods we can accommodate. 

We may contact you via SMS/Text message if you have agreed to this when you create an account.

While we make every effort to ensure details and descriptions of available items are accurate on our website, errors may occur. All orders are subject to the availability of supplies requested. We will notify you if there is an issue with an item ordered.

If I miss any items in your order, I will do my very best to send them right out. But there are times that the cost of shipping is more than the item, so I will offer to add it to a future order or issue a store credit for the item at my discretion, unless you want to pay postage to ship it sooner.  All order issues must be reported within 7 days of receipt.

If we offer to have an item returned to us, it MUST be returned in the original packaging, completely unopened.  If it has been opened or altered, we will NOT send a replacement, and the money spent on shipping to get it back will be considered the refund.  Is this harsh.....maybe but I spend money on packaging.  If you send an item back then we have to spend more money to repackage.

Please note: Insurance is not promised on every order. If I use a flat rate shipping it has $50 of insurance. If your package is lost in the mail, we can't replace it for you. If there is insurance you will be instructed to contact the insurance provider. If you are concerned about insuring it, please add the insurance option to your cart.

FedEx shipping: daily pickup is @ 10 am. I will do my best to get your order out by the next pickup. Heavy order days may cause delays in fulfillment.

There are times we may ship you small items in a padded envelope. In any event, we are committed to the fairest shipping charges and practices. Please feel free to contact us if you have questions.

RESELLING IS NOT allowed without prior permission if you are or have a retail business!  You must follow the same guidelines as our FWS Wholesale Accounts.  This will be enforced and you will be banned from purchasing if it is discovered that you are reselling our brand as your name or without credit to us by our packaging.

FWS Wholesale Accounts:

Retailer agrees to keep all hardware packaged in FWS packaging.  If there is an agreement for repackaging for kits or other needs the buyer still agrees to use FWS packaging.  The reason for this is on the FWS Wholesale page.

If the retailer has a wholesale account further discounts will not apply if we run a sale for our regular customers.  As a retail buyer a personal account is not allowed to sell products purchased through the personal account.  Retail accounts do not qualify for these sales unless directly noted on the sale.  If there are questions please contact us.

Minimum order will apply and shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.  Shipping will be calculated at time of checkout or invoiced once the order is packed  

Violations of the FWS Wholesale Account terms is terms for immediate revocation of the wholesale and personal accounts.

The user agrees to indemnify and hold Fireweed Stitches and its affiliates, employees, agents and representatives harmless from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, expenses, losses, damages and attorney fees arising from any and all claims and lawsuits for libel, slander, copyright, and trademark violation as well as all other claims resulting from the participation of the user on fireweedstitches.com. The user also agrees to indemnify Fireweed Stitches for any legal fees incurred by Fireweed Stitches, acting reasonably, in investigating or enforcing its rights under this agreement.
